need help with choosing

Hi i heard from my friend I can host L2J server in US but just cant receive donations cuz of copy write law or something...But then he told me Germany you can host and get donations cuz theres no laws about that in Germany.
Does anybody know which i should host it on?? im really confused haha...If there is admin passing by this thread can you let me know what country you are posting on? and any suggestion?

from what i understand, (i could be wrong) is that you can except donations as long as you don't modify the client, and/or provide an illegal link for the client download-a download not sponsored by ncsoft...

The only problem with donations, whether or not you give an item in return, is that it is considered income and you may be liable for the taxes.
Check with your tax laws.

As long you dont take any payment for playing on your server or edit the client you are all fine.
