what is l2j ?
L2j is Lineage 2 server emulator made in Java language.
It started from l2Chef and upgraded in time by himself and his team of developers (you can see the full list of l2j developers in HERE (http://forum.l2jserver.com/team.php) )
is this legal ?
Yes, it is legal, as long as you do not modify by any means the game client
what is the difference between l2j and retail server ?
- retail servers are the official servers where you can play the game at it`s full capacity having access to all the features and it requires a monthly fee
- l2j server doesn`t have all the features from the retail(l2j team is working hard to implement all features) and it's free.
is there a place where i can read more about it ?
