since everyone wants to start his own l2j server and coudnt , for some reason
i made this powerpoint file with pictures and Directions with it , so nobody asks how to setup a l2j server ,
to start u will need thuse
1= l2j datapack and server pack www.l2jserver.com get the last version
2= ANY Mysql program ,java SDK Ex : www.navicat.com
3= Microsoft powerpoint Program Ex: www.Google.com iT :P
thats all :)

in the lin-k below , you ill find a powerpoint file , leads you step by step till you Run up your server :cool:

its not a troj or anything like that .. its a Picture Sliding program only
that you have to open and press F5 to view the pictures as full Screen Scene :(

if your ware lazy i mean !! but better edit by your self , for more experciance

Bcoz ;)
1- if the server is the same pc you ill play on ( so that u conenct)
2- external ( to others to connect ) players :D Ex: 123.255.255.123
3-external will never be 127.0.0.1 even if the omen said so ! :cool:
127.0.0.1 is a internal curse nomber from the internet xD (joke)

and of course you ill have to edit hosts file :)

no need to play :) if you want to play on an Interlude Dp
of course you will need the interlude full game ( updated) :cool:

to edit the host file

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
then
127.0.0.1 l2authd.lineage2.com ^^ simply :cool:
Bcoz your the one playing on the localhost now :) ( server machine)

so that players to connect , they need fully updated files :) (interlude)
AND they ill need the External ip to connect

Ex: 123.111.222.33 l2authd.lineage2.com ^^ ONLY
without testauthd.... blah :)

and btw
doesnt matter if u have 56kb modem :) the local host wount use a bit from the internet

so no need to disconnect to play Stand Alone mode :)

but i can show you some steps , very useful ones
for your problem use //delete OR press SHIFT+Left Click on him


and thuse are useful
1-//edit_character to edit stats
2-//heal i love it ,so use it :D , sometimes i cheat when some1 pvping other i heal him xD
AHEM ...
3-//recall to get some1 teleport to you ( to get him)
4-//teleportto to teleport to some1 ( You who moves to him)
5-//set_level 80 to get some to any level :)
6-//kill i love it , must useful
7-//res RES

very sensitive prog

1-Search item Doom Dagger IS NOT doom dagger ( very sensitive )
2-Search npc need the name :) full name
3-skills menu and stuff of that , u need to target the player :)


ALWAYS USE //ADMIN , and go deep with it , u will learn too many and fast :)

it ill send the data to the ISP , not direct to your CPU

Actually i opened my server us a lan server a couple of months and was playing with friends great. Yesterday i tried to open the server online using my external ip where it was needed, but nothing ppl cant login.

Any advice will be appriciated :)

I have two questions...
1. - How to use Navicat
2. - I downloaded those guide pictures and after i finish with picture number 6 and press enter it shows something unexpected: There was some problem while executing: ""mysqldump" --add-drop-table -h localhost -u root --password= l2jdb > .\loginserver_backup.sql 2> NUL"

I'd suggestyou to look for correct values and try this script again later. But maybe you'd prefer to go on now

Ok...i have it all done and i can start LoginServer and GameServer...i downloaded Interlude Client but i have one problem with it, when i start the game, while loading it shows some GameGuard Error, i click "Ok" and i start the game, but when i need to enter my Username and Password, i can't type anything...like my keyboard is not working but i tested, my keyboard is fine...anyone have solution for me ? :)

the game guard
if u skipped the game guard means u Entered /system/l2.exe
and thats wrong
1-why ?
because it connects to hosts ip
127.0.0.1 l2authd.lineage2.com <--- in hosts
not by patch or anything else
and you will need a clean files , means not patched , never ware
if u have patched syste file it might not work or crashes at game start with critica errores :)



if you started the game from , lineage2/lineage2.exe
i mustn't show anything about game guard and if did , try full file check :)
if nothing happened , keep the *.dat files running and tell a frined to connect to you :) , if he played , means ur game files F-Up
u will need to download new client /or full check still :P

Hey Guys, i am using some old C5 Hero1711 Files found on web,
but i can't connect on it because i need the System patch :(
Can anyone help me ? i cannot found it...
And i dont know how to use the files of nightly, and i found
there just C5 too. No Interlude.

Hello Guys

Im not back yet but ill be back to help you guys in September 20
i dont skip an email that comes to me and i useally read them and i swear i translate them from spanish-greek-poland-german-asian all into english just to understand whats in the (bla.bla email ) ....

but i cant reply every email becoz i get 20+ mail a day !! (and i have a life ) :(

1st vista for server creation sux. dont use them. you will probably crash your pc with vista. 2nd maybe you use a patched system. or with full clean system, who knows, well try to change the l2.ini on your system folder and put on the server address yours. dunno what you have to put. maybe if you use no-ip you have to put yourname.noip.biz or who knows, try this. or if its on local host you have to put your localhost 127.0.0.1 i think, tnx
