Yes, we're back and relaunched under a new URL.
Why choose GvE over other servers? Take a look at the features:
1. 2 Sides. The Good side (Elf,Human,Female dwarf) is always fighting the Evil side (Dark elf, Orc, Male dwarf). There is no PK'ing on this server, so you cannot drop items.
2. Kill players for adena (Used to buy B,A and S grade gear along with a few other goodies). The amount is persons PvP count + 1 = Adena gained
3. 24/7 castle siege size pvp! The goal of the server is to capture as many towns/castles/areas as possible and keep them while fending off the other side. Any town can be attacked at anytime.
4. NO DONATOR ONLY ITEMS!!! We take pride that we don't need to offer over-powered items to players to keep the server up. What we offer is available to normal players. Weapon enchants are NOT available, so you wont see a +16 A or S grade item anytime soon.
5. Non corrupt staff! Everyday I myself go through the GM action logs to check up on our GMs to make sure they are good and not favoring people or giving players/their legit gear. Why can you trust me? I can give a list of GMs banned and you can even ask the people who have played a long time and they will probably say that I ban corrupt gms.
6. We are the ORIGINAL faction vs faction server. No ideas stolen so everything is 100% unique.
7. Always someone in IRC to help with problems! I myself am available most of the time if you need help or donated and would like to inquire about a gift. Most of the GM's also hang out in irc 24/7.
Some new features (For old school players + New players):
Mobile Spawnable Clan Spawnpoints (lvl 5 Clans) Now instead of needing to run a long way from say Gludin->Gludio you can setup a base closer to either and not need to run!
Entirely new Town + Region Capture System
New Guard AI
New Geodata New geodata = less walling! This is also being updated.
S Grade is already ingame + Interlude weapons
40-60 new Accessories with bonuses (will be done in the next 24-48 hours)
Totally new Community Board + Site features (Top 10 pvpers)
Faction Point System w/ Rewards
Faction Kings(not lords).
New exploit protection!
Not really a feature, but ALL of greece has been banned from the game servers! Now you dont need to sift through 50 lines of greek a second!
We typically have ATLEAST 50 people on at 2AM est time, and even more during the day! (At time of posting its 2AM and 100 people are on)
Best of all, this is the LAST GvE. No more 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 or wipes. All that will happen is more tweaking, additions etc.
This is also NOT a donator only server. All items a donator can obtain can be obtained via a normal player.
The GM team is also non-corrupt. GM action logs are checked daily and GM's perm banned along with their legit. (Atleast 8 GM's have been banned so far on GvE for corruption)
Worried about people exploiting/hacking? No need to worry, any new exploit released (Even under-ground only) is patched within 24 hours.
