Adept of Taste
This quest is for level 24 and above. You can start the quest by going to Dion Castle Town and talk to Jonas. He can be found in warehouse. I recommend doing the quest at least level 25 or 26. The higher level you are the easier the quest will be. When you start talking to Jonas in the warehouse, he will ask you to help him gathered ingredients to help him enter in the cooking contest. The ingredients are long and gathering them may take a while. You will run back and fourth so I will try to make the less running as possible for you. The ingredients needed are Mandragora Roots, Honey, Moss, Monster Eye Meat and last are Potatoes.
In order to start obtaining the ingredients, you must finish talking to Jonas, which then he will tell you to go to individual NPC’s which tell you where and what monsters to hunt to obtain the ingredient. Once you completed the quest you will be rewarded 7000 adena and 6000 experience. This quest is repeatable... but it is long.

Before leaving town remember to get some scroll of escape and you need to talk to all of these NPC before leaving. Talk to these people in these orders. Trader Sonia in the Magic Shop, Guard Jacob guard the entrance before the chapel, Priest Glyvka in the chapel, and Magister Rollant in the chapel. Once you have spoken to all of them you are ready to hunt. Later once you get to Floran you will have to talk to Grocer Pano.

After speaking to Trader Sonia, she tells you the location to hunt for Mandragora Roots. She also mentioned to you that there are 2 types of Mandragora Roots. White Mandragora Roots are rare and are better tasting than Red Mandragora Roots. Go to the Execution Ground and hunt for Mandragora Blossoms, Saplings, or Sprouts. Hunt until you have at least 40 Red Mandragora Roots. Blossoms and Saplings are aggressive and Sprouts are passive but still will help their kind, so be careful.
Guard Jacob:

Once you have spoken to Guard Jacob, he gives you an insect book so you know what Bloody Bee looks like. You must kill Bloody Bee or Stinging Wasp to get 20 Nectar to make honey. Jacob also mentioned that it is better tasting if you get Royal Jelly. Both Bloody Bee and Monster Eye Gazer are located in Floran. Just a little warning, in Floran there tends to be a lot of PK, because there is no guards around, so be careful.
Priestess Glyvka:

When you talk to Priestess, she will request you to get 20 Marsh Moss. There are Green Marsh Moss and Brown Marsh Moss, Brown are rarer and gives better flavor. The Mosses can be obtained from Gray Ants or Crimson Ant. The easiest is to hunt for Gray Ants at Cruma Tower. They are passive but they are most often close to Horror Mist Ripper which are aggressive so be careful.
Magister Rollant:

Magister Rollant requests you to obtained Monster Eye Meat which is very poisonous and has to be prepared very delicately. These can be obtained by hunting Monster Eye Gazer or Monster Eye Searcher. Monster Eye Gazers are located in Floran. These monsters are passive but will help their own kind and there will be Dire Wolf close by which are aggressive.
Now leave town and head East go to the Execution Ground and hunt for Mandragora Root first.

You can hunt for the White Roots if you want, but I recommend not. It will take a very very very long time. I hunted for more than 3 hours and only have 20 White Mandragora Roots. So I gave up. The red one will do just fine. Once you are done head South to Floran and hunt for Bloody Bee and Monster Eye Gazer.

Once you have obtained 20 Nectars, continue on to kill the Monster Eye Gazers.

Once you are done obtaining 30 body monster eye, remember to stop in the town of Floran to talk to Grocer Pano.
Grocer Pano, will request a contract with you to hunt Hobgoblins which is outside of Dion Castle town. You must obtained 30 of the hobgoblin amulets. Then in return he will give you the potatoes for your ingredient.

After speaking to Grocer Pano, head back to Dion Castle town and you will see Hobgoblins by the road side.

Once you have obtained 30 of the Hobgoblins amulets, return to Floran and collect your potatoes from Grocer Pano. Now head towards Dion Castle Town and go to Cruma Tower. There you will hunt for Gray Ants.

Once you have completed killing the Gray Ants and obtained 20 of the Green Marsh Moss use your scroll of escape to return to Dion Castle Town.
Take your entire ingredient back to the correct NPC. Go back and talk to Trader Sonia and request her to make the Mandragora Essence. Then go to Guard Jacob and request him to make the honey. Then go to the chapel and request Priestess Glyvka to make the Moss and Magister Rollant to prepare the Monster Eye meat.
Once done go back to Jonas and give him the entire ingredient which all the NPC have prepared for you. Jonas in return creates his dish and enter the cooking contest and tell you to go see Magister Mirien for the result.

Once you have spoken to her, she will give you a note with the result to bring back to Jonas. Bring it back to Jonas and you will have completed the quest and will receive your rewards. Congratulation you are done!!!!
