Setup
1. Extract L2J_Server.zip and L2J_DataPack.zip to a folder named "Server". Extract L2J_Server.zip FIRST!!!

2. Run "Setup.exe" and just go through clicking next UNTIL you get to the password screen, put in a password that you will remember. Write this down for Navicat. Install the Java version that suites your computer.

3. Download Navicat if you haven't already. Download "Extended Navicat" and put it in you navicat folder. If you get an overwrite message you did it right. Run navicat and click the "Connection" button.

Connection name: localhost
Host name/ip adress: localhost
Port: 3306 (unless you selected otherwise in MySQL setup wizard)
User name: root
Password: The password you selected for MySQL in the setup wizard

Double click your new connection to open it. If you have errors you have not followed my guide correctly, so go back and do it again. Right click on your newly made connection and hit "New Database". Type in "l2jdb" and click "OK". Nothing else

4. Go in your server\tools folder and run database_installer.bat. Follow the onscreen instructions and you'll be fine. When you get the to installing part pick "f" for loginserver and gameserver, because you want a full install.

5. Go into your gameserver\config folder and open server.properties. This part is hard so PAY ATTENTION. Go to whatsmyip.org and write the IP it gives you down. Go to "start > run > cmd" and hit enter. Type "ipconfig" and hit enter, write down the second one it gives you.

Ok the whatsmyip.org is your WAN or external IP, people connect to you with this.

If i dont mention it, ignore it.

ExternalHostname=whatsmyip.org ip
InternalHostname=ipconfig ip
Password=your mysql password

Do the same for server\login\loginserver.properties

6. Lets register your gameserver. Go to server\login and run RegisterGameServer.bat. Type "help" for a list of avaliable server names. Select one and type the number and hit enter. Copy the hexid(server ##) that was just created in your server\login to your server\gameserver\config folder. Rename it to just "hexid" without quotes of course.

7. Run startSQLaccountmanager.bat, select 1 for create new account. Type in your account information and for access level put 100.

8. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open "hosts" with notepad. Add this line:

whatsmyip.orgIP l2authd.lineage2.com

Insert your whatsmyip.org IP where it says whatsmyip.orgIP

Save and exit

9. Open ports 3306, 7777, 2106 on your firewall or router. Sorry i can't help more on this step it depends on your computer.

10. Run startLoginserver.bat and startGameserver.bat, launch your l2.exe. Log in and create your character. Now go to "Navicat > l2jdb > characters" table, find your character. Type in 100 for the access level, you'll have to scroll over a bit to find this. Relog on your character and....

CONGRATZ
You now have a gm on your own server

If its only you playing you can hos tthe server on your pc... for around 30 people without lag you can deal with a computer thats not used but hooked up to internet... If you want over that without lag you want to hire a company for your server box

server\gameserver\rates.properties for rates, other.properties for Enchanting rates ... for the others ... you are free to open the rest of the files and explore them all , you will find interesting things ... Good Luck :D

Hi, i have a problem, when i enter game, nothing happens, i thing my problem is that when i set the options in the database_installer, at host option it says "host(default: localhost)", my questions is ¿i have to put "localhost" or mi local ip? when i go to whatismyip.org, that ip is the same that "cmd>ipconfig" both ip are the same. And for internal and externalip i put the same ip, because they are the same ^^.
i dont know where is my error.

l2jservers.com click on l2j forum register search for "gm shop npc buffer" it will come with a readme witch is self explainitory and the weight limit you will have to either change in char templetes in mysql the m_load to 9999999 or add skill ID 150(weight limit lvl 3) to all chars

with the no1 connecting issue its because you have a dynamic IP and your ip changes everytime your router restarts :P and about the gm shop read my post before this and post what commands are causing you problems plz and ill try to help :P

OK i understand that a lot of people are always asking about where they can get a GM shop a Teleporter and a Buffer. WELL i know i needed them and after a while of searching and searching o have finally found these NPC's
These NPC's should work for you 100% if they don't u should probaly not be doing this

simply get in-game and type //spawn 70002 and your gm shop should spawn if you did everything right :P btw you have to be admin so you gotta have your access lvl around 150+ on java based servers :D hope this is what you meant :P

Ok for the buffers and teleporters to work you have to have the Quests turned on! otherwise it says that they have no tasks for you. for the class master you should //spawn the class masters name i dont know it right now lol but im sure you can find it :P

simple slove for it :

open Database_Installer.bat

and you will find a Line were its written :

set mysqlBinPath=C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1\bin

you may have to change it because its not in the same path its maybe in proragmm

just look were its installed and change path.

its just not a interlude server
its a kamael server
the link wich is located at 1 page is a kamael server nothing more
if u can login but cant login to server
if u see your server is up but cant log
look the gameserver consol

it means that u have kamael server

then i use kamael client and i logged
everything is cool
just 1 thing
there is no kamael items
and when i created kamael (char)

When i dl the extended version of navicat i get an error when i open it saying "This application has failed to start becuase LIBEAY32.dll was not found."

I think the problem is that the guide says to put the navicat file into the navicat folder on computer but i dont have that folder.

u havent registered the server, so u need to register it, with registerserver.bat that u will find in login folder, just click 1 and enter, now u will have a hexid(server 1) archive, change its name to hexid and then copy it to gameserver\config folder

Hi, pls help me. i made the servers and they are working fine, but i can't manage to connect to my server, i made an account but it doesn't work, it always connects to NCSoft , i made the hosts file and i tried everything i could find on the internet but i can't connect. i tried even the cmd lines ("ipconfig /flushdns" and "ping L2authd.lineage2.com") and i tried to disable the dns but still nothing. if someone knows how to troubledhoot this pls tell. ty

Hello!!I'm new here. I wanted to create a server so i did it step by ste.Now everything loads perfectly but when i want to log in to my server it just stays there!! I changed my client into C7 but now as soon as it opens it says :Game Guard error.Try reinstalling it and it throws me out!! Any ideas what to do??

Setup
1. Extract L2J_Server.zip and L2J_DataPack.zip to a folder named "Server". Extract L2J_Server.zip FIRST!!!

2. Run "Setup.exe" and just go through clicking next UNTIL you get to the password screen, put in a password that you will remember. Write this down for Navicat. Install the Java version that suites your computer.

3. Download Navicat if you haven't already. Download "Extended Navicat" and put it in you navicat folder. If you get an overwrite message you did it right. Run navicat and click the "Connection" button.

Connection name: localhost
Host name/ip adress: localhost
Port: 3306 (unless you selected otherwise in MySQL setup wizard)
User name: root
Password: The password you selected for MySQL in the setup wizard

Double click your new connection to open it. If you have errors you have not followed my guide correctly, so go back and do it again. Right click on your newly made connection and hit "New Database". Type in "l2jdb" and click "OK". Nothing else

4. Go in your server\tools folder and run database_installer.bat. Follow the onscreen instructions and you'll be fine. When you get the to installing part pick "f" for loginserver and gameserver, because you want a full install.

5. Go into your gameserver\config folder and open server.properties. This part is hard so PAY ATTENTION. Go to whatsmyip.org and write the IP it gives you down. Go to "start > run > cmd" and hit enter. Type "ipconfig" and hit enter, write down the second one it gives you.

Ok the whatsmyip.org is your WAN or external IP, people connect to you with this.

If i dont mention it, ignore it.

ExternalHostname=whatsmyip.org ip
InternalHostname=ipconfig ip
Password=your mysql password

Do the same for server\login\loginserver.properties

6. Lets register your gameserver. Go to server\login and run RegisterGameServer.bat. Type "help" for a list of avaliable server names. Select one and type the number and hit enter. Copy the hexid(server ##) that was just created in your server\login to your server\gameserver\config folder. Rename it to just "hexid" without quotes of course.

7. Run startSQLaccountmanager.bat, select 1 for create new account. Type in your account information and for access level put 100.

8. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open "hosts" with notepad. Add this line:

whatsmyip.orgIP l2authd.lineage2.com

Insert your whatsmyip.org IP where it says whatsmyip.orgIP

Save and exit

9. Open ports 3306, 7777, 2106 on your firewall or router. Sorry i can't help more on this step it depends on your computer.

10. Run startLoginserver.bat and startGameserver.bat, launch your l2.exe. Log in and create your character. Now go to "Navicat > l2jdb > characters" table, find your character. Type in 100 for the access level, you'll have to scroll over a bit to find this. Relog on your character and....

I have a problem is step 10 too but my problem is that i start the SQLaccountmanager i create my account and then in navicat i put the access level to my character but nothing!! In the gameserver window it says Setting Access level 100 but without privilages!! Any help?? please

Heya Guys,
I have the following problem...
If i try to put access level 100 on my charakter nothing works, in the charakter table is listed 100 as access lvl but can use any command like //admin ingame.
and after ih choosed my charakter and pressed "Start" following message appears in the "Game Server Console"

Tryed to set unregistered acces level 100 to character Punky. Setting access level without privilegs!

Hope that someone can help me...
